This is my second DIY Tassel Kit in shades of Teal, Green and Blue and it contains that all you need to create a Luxurious Sari Silk and Lampwork Bead Tassel Necklace.
I love Sari Silks and Tassels so decided to make some Lampwork Bead Caps and voila a DIY Kit.
You can see a Tassel I made using this color-way as an example in photo 7.
For the beads (which are very organic in shape), I have used my favorite Effetre colors of Teal, Green and Grungy Blue with Reactive Double Helix for some Brassy Shine and I have slightly overcooked the glass to get a slightly grungy feel to the set.
I found some wonderful Recycled Sari Silk Ribbon in shades of Teal and Green which I have sorted, ironed and removed excess threads - There are 5 pieces all 30cm (almost 12 inches) long and they range from between 30mm and 45mm wide.
I have also included 1 Hand Dyed Silk Ribbon in Dark Royal Blue and this measures 1 meter or just over a yard long and is finished with tapered points and this is 22mm wide.
Number of beads: 7
Bead size: Focal Barrel shaped Tassel Cap 25mm (I inch) from hole to hole and 23mm in Diameter the 4 Blue and Green Stubby Barrel beads measure 7mm from hole to hole and 12mm in diameter and the 2 little Teal Spacers are 7mm from hole to hole and 10mm in diameter.
Hole size: The Tassel Barrel has a hole size of 8mm and the other beads all have 5mm Holes
1) Photos are taken using natural light and a flash, I color match the photos to my screen, but all computers display colors differently.
2) The photo of the tassel in photo 7 is to show as an example and is not part of this sale.
3) This Kit does not include the Sterling Silver Hook discussed in the Tutorial, but you can purchase it from my shop here
I used Effetre and Double Helix in this set and all my beads go directly from the flame into my digital kiln.
I do combine shipping, so you only pay shipping on the first item and the others travel for free.
